I was back in North Yorkshire again recently this time in Helmsley at the Black Swan Hotel for the wedding of Claire and Chris. It was a small intimate affair shared with their son, close family and friends. After a very wet week they had a lovely sunny day and were able to make the most of the lovely garden. Christol and Paul’s Wedding at Ingleton Methodist Church
I was back down in Cumbria this week – well just over the border in North Yorkshire actually for the wedding of Christol and Paul. As you can see by the umbrellas the day started of wet but just as Christol arrived the church the rain stopped……..after the ceremony at Ingleton Methodist Church everyone headed to the Castle Green Hotel in Kendal for a meal and evening do….a great day was had by all..During the speeches Christol was surprised by the groom who had secretly arranged for a honeymoon in New York ..guess which photograph was taken as she heard the news….Here are some of the highlights of the wedding photographs…please feel free to leave a comment for the happy couple…..

Katherine and Peter chose to have a humanist ceremony for their wedding last Saturday and it was absolutely lovely….they had worked very hard to make the day special – the hall looked wonderful, all the flowers were native varieties and they looked so pretty. Ingrid and Alexander’s Wedding at Eilean Donan Castle
Alexander and Ingrid together with all their family and friends made their way over from Norway to be married at the Eilean Donan Castle as it was the Mackenzie stronghold in the 13th Century held by Kenneth Mackenzie. Fiona and James’s Wedding at Urquhart Castle
I love a castle wedding and I really love going to a new venue so I was in my element at Fiona and James’s wedding last week. they had come over from Ireland with their family for their wedding at Urquhart Castle. The guests arrived by boat provided by Jacobite Cruises the humanist ceremony which was absolutely lovely and natural was held in the old kitchen over looking the Loch. Fiona wore a wonderful green gown which is the traditional colour for wedding dresses in Ireland and her bridesmaids were amazing in bright dresses.
