Karen and Craig’s Highland Wedding at Rothiemurchus Kirk and the Cairngorm Hotel

September 25, 2014

Karen and Craig chose one of my favourite highland Kirks for their wedding earlier this month. It was St John’s in Rothiemurchus and I first visited it when I was 9 years old for the wedding of my great uncle  Harry to a Lady from Kingussie. If someone had told me then that I would one day end up living and working in Aviemore I would have been very surprised but also delighted. Anyway back to Karen and Craig, they  had travelled up for their wedding from their home in my native west Midlands – repeating my own journey in the 1960’s!

They all had a splendid day and although they had visited the area many time they thoroughly enjoyed showing the area to their many friends. Here are some the highlights of the wedding photography taken at the kirk, The Cairngorm Hotel and Loch an Eilein……wedding photography at St John's Church Rothiemurchus-6797wedding photography at St John's Church Rothiemurchus-6956-2wedding photography at St John's Church Rothiemurchus-7017-2wedding photography at St John's Church Rothiemurchus-7156wedding photography at St John's Church Rothiemurchus-7191wedding photography at St John's Church Rothiemurchus-7193wedding photography at St John's Church Rothiemurchus-7201wedding photography at Loch and Eilein-6641wedding photography at Loch and Eilein-6643wedding photography at Loch and Eilein-6654wedding photography at St John's Church Rothiemurchus-7251wedding photography at St John's Church Rothiemurchus-7266wedding photography at St John's Church Rothiemurchus-7270wedding photography at St John's Church Rothiemurchus-7320wedding photography at St John's Church Rothiemurchus-7420wedding photography at The Cairngorm Hotel-7514wedding photography at The Cairngorm Hotel-7575
